Gunmen kill Sudanese diplomat in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Nov. 9 (Xinhuanet) -- Unknown gunmen shot dead a Sudanese
diplomat in western Baghdad on Wednesday, an Interior Ministry
source said.
"Unknown armed men opened fire at Hummoda Ahmed Adam, anattache in
the Sudanese embassy, when he was driving in al-Safarat district in
western Baghdad, at about 11:30 a.m. (0830 GMT)," the source told
Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
The attackers shot dead Adam and fled the scene, the source added,
without giving further details.
Earlier this year, two Algerian diplomats and a top Egyptian envoy
to Iraq were kidnapped and killed by the al-Qaida group inIraq in
