Immigrant bill: vile, racist, barbaric, meanness.

04/01/06 "ICH" -- -- I am unalterably opposed to the immigrant bill being considered in Congress. Only traitors to the principles on which this country was founded could vote for such an example of vile, racist, barbaric, meanness. This is a bill founded ENTIRELY in flagrant racism and baseness by a group of racist, evil-hearted, right-wing-activist plutocratic ideologues.

The immigration "issue" is nothing more than a concept designed to keep us commoners divided and diverted from REAL issues facing the country: pathetic, murderous, lying, torturing criminals running the country, waging wars based on lies and, with their accomplices in Congress, stealing our freedom in the name of false security; welfare for the rich while social programs are cut; outsourcing of what were good-paying jobs here to countries where labor is cheaper; wars to benefit corporations that use our children as cannon fodder, whose veterans benefits are cut by hypocrites in Congress; failure to adequately fund alternative energy sources; destruction of environmental and worker safety laws; impeachment of the Supreme Court justices who installed this criminal regime in disregard of the election process; and so on. You three have been among the worst offenders in supporting this criminal regime that has brought nothing but suffering and shame to my country. You make me ashamed and angry as you wrap yourselves in the flag while you rob us blind and impose police-state tactics in my country. Congress has become thoroughly populated by pompous, pious-mouthed thieves of liberty, little more than a congregation representing fascism and dishonor: a gathering of arrogant, truth-twisting monsters in thrall to corporations and other moneyed interests, oblivious to the needs of the common people, and deserving of no respect whatsoever.

Funny thing, but I have heard about the evils of immigration for my entire life. And, history shows this "issue" to have been one regularly used by our rulers to divert opinion from important issues by playing on the inherent racism that thrives among those of my fellow citizens who choose to live in self-imposed ignorance, who choose to wallow in blind nationalism, who choose to look down on those whose skin color, ethnicity, or religion differ from their own. Yet, with all the "evils" of immigration, the country survived, and prospered ... at least until the current monsters were installed into power by the Supreme Court.

If you people were serious about correcting what you perceive to be a problem, you would not be debating police-state tactics. You would not be debating draconian laws, construction of walls, and increases in policing abilities ... none of these will ever work. They simply are a clever means of appealing to our true, racist, mean nature, notwithstanding the myth of our goodness that we have pounded into us from birth.

If you wanted to keep people from coming here, you would take positive steps. You would show support for FAIR trade agreements that ensure good wages, in their native countries, for those who would otherwise immigrate. You would sponsor legislation doing away with so-called free trade agreements that simply allow our good jobs to go overseas, or to our south, where they are accomplished for less money. You would demand that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) do away with "structural adjustments" that require loan recipients to privatize everything, right down to public water supplies, requirements that bankrupt local farmers in favor of corporate agribusiness. And, you would sponsor legislation to increase oversight of IMF to insure against its making loans far too large for poor countries ever to pay back ... the current and historical "business as usual" for this corrupt organization (which is run in fact by the United States). You would publicly call for support of popular movements in Central and South America, like the government of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, that are actually taking positive steps to make life better for their common people. In other words, you would stop going along with the fascism that blindly supports the exploitative activities of laissez-faire capitalism that is our governmental system, and has been for a long, long time. But instead, you would rather jump on the racism-xenophobia bandwagon and show how "tough" you can be. You really should be ashamed.

Stop this nonsense. No wall, no immigration bill. No excuses tying them to the LIE of "war on terror". Enough fearmongering. Enough racism. Enough meanheartedness. Enough LIES!!!
