. Is This A Tribute To A Great Man . . .? [PLEASE READ TO END OF ARTICLE] He was a natural leader who stepped to the plate in our country's hour of need. He was elected amidst great controversy and discord and banded together a nation in crisis. Unlike his predecessors, his moral consistency and religious faith were evident to all. Instead of banning God and separating Church and State, he united both in a common cause of hope and vision. He determined to bestow a greater education on our nation's children with more funds and opportunities. He strove to give our children the tools to excel and become responsible, law-abiding citizens of this country. He rose to the highest office in the land out of near obscurity and and greatly increased its prominence. Instead of bending to international pressure he thought first of his homeland and sought its interests first. When his nation was viciously attacked he did not play the coward but stood brave with his countrymen. He defiantly roused a nation for righteous vengeance from the dormant slumber of economic woes and distractions. When people criticized a pre-emptive strike on an oil-rich nation he persuaded us of the necessity for war. He strengthened our military and assured soldiers' mothers that their service would honor our country. When a haughty Asian nation dared to threaten us into compliance he mastered diplomacy to diffuse tensions. Unshaken by those who clamor for civil liberties he was willing to detain suspects most likely to attack us. He sought to disarm enemies abroad and enemies within by supporting the registration of all firearms. He courageously disagreed with generals and intelligence experts who were not willing to take risks. He united political factions for the sake of common unity and resolve against the enemies of our liberty.
And now..... We must be willing to accept this challenging fact..... We have just paid tribute to ADOLF HITLER, elected dictator of the German republic and leader of the National Socialist German Workers World Party (NAZIS) . Today, George W. Bush has deceived the American public with false proof of Iraq's weapons of mass destruction. He has violated his oath to the Constitution by assuming war powers only given to the Congress by our founding ancestors in an official declaration of war. He has fleeced American workers of family earnings to fund a trillion dollar military-industrial complex bent on spreading American imperialism by force and supporting our armed troops in over one hundred fifty nations abroad. It is time to bring all the troops home. It is time to stop the aggressive invasion of Iraq and our twelve-year bombing and economic-starvation campaign against a hapless, backwards nation. It is time to let the Iraquis, the Kurds, the Iranians and the Israelis determine their own destiny in the endless Middle East conflict. There is no imminent threat from Iraq; a nation in shambles with no air force, no navy and an avowed enemy of Al-Qaeda. You have been lied to by President Bush, ex-President Clinton, Secretary of State Colin Powell and the rest of the White House staff. If President Eisenhower had accepted the immoral practice of "pre-emptive strikes" against the Soviet Union, Moscow and New York would be heaping ashes of nuclear ashes and waste to this day. Be a patriot who cherishes our Liberties. Say NO to the war on Iraq and the presidential grab for unbridled power. Forward this to every liberty-loving, patriotic American that you know!
