Stephen Sackur talks to George Galloway, the British MP who
campaigns against the Iraq war and leads the Respect party.
Both of Britain's main political parties supported the war in
Iraq; neither advocates an immediate withdrawal of coalition
forces. As a result much of the anger generated by the war has
been harnessed by George Galloway
Expelled from the Labour Party after 35 years in politics he's
been described as a man who glories in his ability to rub people
up the wrong way faster than anyone else.
But his consistent opposition to the Iraq war
certainly struck a chord with voters in his east London
constituency.
He is now the leader and sole parliamentary
member of a new British political party, "Respect".
Stephen Sackur asks what really motivates
George Galloway.
