Pictures Purport To Show 2 U.S. Marines Beheaded and Abused

[Ed Note: Each day in Iraq we have watched and tried to count the number of people who have died as a result of our attack on a defenseless nation. We have also witnessed the idealism and of our youth turned into a vast swamp of despair as they become another generation, awakening to the lies that always accompany war.

When we read the headlines that state "xxx killed in Iraq" it has no meaning. These words can not in any way convey the horror that surrounds each event that results in death.

We can not smell the blood or witness the screaming Iraqi parents who try to gather the body parts of their loved ones as a butcher would pick pieces of flesh from his shop floor.

We do not hear the long cries of despair that roar from the souls of the parents of our military who have to attend their children's funeral unsure of what lies within the casket that bears their child's name.

So we speak of war, as if it were something other than savagery. We avert our eyes, for while me may speak of it we will not look upon it's face.  We look on those who would kill our soldiers with such ferocity as animals while contributing to a war machine which allows our government to eviscerate the people and culture of Iraq while we shop for bargains in "Memorial Day Sales"

The only winners in war are those who provide the weapons. ]

"For a great many years, as a soldier, I had a suspicion that war was a racket; not until I retired to civil life did I fully realize it. Now that I see the international war clouds gathering, as they are today, I must face it and speak out." Excerpt from a speech delivered in 1933, by Major General Smedley Butler, USMC: War Is A Racket

The pictures below are alleged to show the bodies of U.S. service men In Iraq. I am advised, these men are not the soldiers that were captured some 3 weeks ago.
