Syrian Rebels Pull Down Statue of Hafez al-Assad's

Amateur footage posted online by opposition groups appears to show celebrations in a square in the northern city of Raqqah after it is seized by rebels. A statue of Bashar al-Assad's father and predecessor, Hafez, is pulled down and a poster of the current president ripped off its hoardings. Celebrations in the city, the largest to be taken by anti-Assad forces so far, are cut short when mortar hits the square.
