Dogma is one scary premise

11/26/04 "ICH" Dogma is an illogical ignorance embraced by humanity. It doesn’t matter if the dogma is political or religious, adherence to a dogmatic premise is an admission of the inability to reason. Dogma gives rise to intolerance. Intolerance is the offspring of fear and dogma married together in an incestuous wedding of the baser instincts of humankind.
Dogma is a “how to” manual . Dogma is the prescription written by a very small ruling elite that for some reason, feels that they are entitled to tell everyone else how they should live. The authors of dogma live above the rules of behavior that they have prescribed for humanity. They would then of course, be the ‘enlightened ones’ or the “illuminati” if I may be allowed to steal a phrase from the conspiracy theory proponents.
In general, dogma is dressed to be something other than what it is. Dogma served up as just dogma is cold, sterile, and unappealing. Dogma must be spun into something acceptable, attractive, patriotic, politically correct, religiously pious, and saleable. Dogma puts on a mask named ‘the war on terror’. Dogma puts on a suit named ‘right to life’. Dogma puts on a pair of shoes named, “you are either with us or you are against us.” Dogma would be the strings that are attached to the simple minded followers of the demagogue preacher. Dogma would be the argument used by politicians to wage wars of aggression on nations that may have some resource that the politician has an eye on acquiring. Dogma is the corrupt by product from subverting legal government. Dogma is a corrupt manifesto of corporate America that is locked into a full blown purchase of a government that was “of the people, by the people, and for the people.” Dogma is greed put into practice by corrupt persons that are never content with having more than anyone else, these corrupt persons must have it all. Dogma is the politician, preacher, or businessman who believes that their end justifies any means necessary to accomplish the dogmatic goal. Dogma is without conscience, ethics, morals, or values. Dogma is hypocrisy in practice and theory. Dogma is the Congressperson on the take from corporate America.
Dogma is the rationale used by the religious politician to wage preemptive war on a fabricated enemy. An enemy that was in very real fact, the product of national policy gone woefully wrong. Dogma is deceit in practice. Dogma is theft in action. Dogma is a very real genocide being perpetrated on a people of a different religion. Dogma teaches that one religion would be superior to some other religion therefore, the brutal murder of the other religion’s people is acceptable and justified before the god of the aggressor people’s pronounced dogma.
Dogma enables a simplistic world view to be tolerable. Dogma turns the world black or white, us versus them, we’re right and they are wrong, and questioning those assertions is unpatriotic. Dogma wraps a people in the flag of their nation and extols a hyper-patriotism as a virtue. Dogma negates an obvious immoral national policy and transforms the policy into religious pragmatism that is still only a Machiavellian theory on first degree murder. Dogma decrees that “those people” are not like ‘we the people’ and the slaughter of “those people” becomes a media event. Embedded reporters become the prostitutes of big media concerns that are offering appeasement and the obfuscation of truth as dogma in lock step with madness. Dogma then dictates a reporter to sell off any sense of simple human dignity and reporting becomes the shading of hard fact into fantasy. Dogma then transforms atrocity into the evening news, having been sanitized and spoon-fed to a people beaten senseless by fear.
Dogma then is a sales pitch to a nation in an epilepsy of fear. Dogma is a seizure gripping a people sold on “terrorist threats” by heinous criminals that hate. Why these criminals hate is more rote dogma, spun far from actual truth. You shall not know the truth, the truth is classified. Dogma is the official party line and “our leader” speaks the truth and nothing but the truth, so help me...dogma.
Dogma is a crass and felonious assault on actuality. Remember, you can’t know the actual truth as it has been classified for “national security reasons” so, national tragedies are theatrical productions of epic proportions and dogma then is a soap-opera and one act play put on by the 9/11/01 commission and the commission named the opening of the play as “The Whitewash of the real truth because our version is better and more acceptable and the real culprits can never be known.” Granted, it is a very long title but as long as no one asks any questions, the dogma stands.
Disgraced are a people that have been deceived by their government. Dishonored are a people that have been seduced into complacency by evil neo-conservative dogmatists. Dogma then is the fraudulent re-election of a war criminal. Elections by their very nature as the reflection of the will of a people becomes a hollow illusion when there is no possible way to verify the authenticity of the vote. Electronic voting machines that have been rigged to produce results that favor the party in power, are merely more dogma and therefore questioning the legitimacy of power is heresy. Heresy is as the politician speaks. Hypocrisy is as the Congress does. Dogma is as the pollsters predict. Government of the people and by the people and for the people is conceptually dead. The new dogma reigns supreme and the corporate control of the United States is fait accompli and murderously simple presidents will get away with genocide. No questions are asked, no truth is de-classified, and civil war becomes a quite possible reality.
The twenty first century has given the world a new dogma. The dogma of “empires are us” and as “we are number one”, the “axis of evil” must be destroyed. The call to arms is decreed by “our leader” and God has blessed him with much murderous talent. The dogma of religion-politics has called the world to fight the “Armageddon” last battle against everything evil. Of course, the dogma proclaims that “our leader” will determine what that evil is. “Our leader” is in close consultations with the bombastic and demagogue preachers that have sold America on the apostate illusion of “morals and values” . According to their dogma, “morals and values” will in fact be determined by them. You will either believe as they believe or you will be “detained” as a very special guest at Camp Gitmo. Torture is an accommodation that is included in the price. The camp is run by dogmatic generals that are in full lock step with the wishes of the authors of the new dogma. Resistance is fatal.
The new twenty first century dogma does contain some very fine print in the accompanying addendums. The first addendum is titled, ‘Patriot Acts I and II‘. The second addendum is titled,’ Our nation’s founding documents as an inspiration from God‘. The third addendum is titled, ‘The new name for our country is The Christian United States of America’. The fourth addendum is titled, ‘America is pro-life and anti-abortion and any disagreement will result in your execution’. Dogma is as calamity ensues. The new dogma provides for gays and lesbians becoming disenfranchised second class citizens. Quite soon, “our leader” will declare that gays and lesbians have been reclassified as slaves. Their purchase will commence in Mississippi at the new dogma sale of declassified citizens as purchasable beings for slavery. Progressive enlightenment is highly over rated. Bipartisan politics is laughable and does not exist. The new dogma provides that “our leader” be anointed as “God’s favorite politician” and “our leader’s” word is gospel.
Dogma then is repression pure and simple. Dogma then is totalitarian monotheistic politics. Dogma then is censorship and cultural deprivation. Dogma then is the silence of a people to the sedition and subversion of their government by corrupt and narrow minded politicians and religious lunatics that would vacate a people’s rights without a second thought. Dogma then is a corporate scheme to enslave economically, the people of our world. Except of course for the authors of dogma. They are exempt.
