How To Post Your Comments On Information Clearing House A Note From Tom Many ICH readers have asked why we have changed the comment system. Here is a brief explanation followed by instructions on how to use the new sysytem. Haloscan, who provided the comment system previously used on ICH was acquired by another company JS-Kit as detailed here. "Exciting news – Haloscan, the legacy comment system that JS-Kit acquired last year, is getting upgraded to the new Echo platform. We were faced with the option of using this new system or not having a comment section, together with loosing the archive of years of comments posted by readers on this website. I apologize to readers for the inconvenience caused by these changes and hope that we may be mature enough to continue to share news, information and opinions in a way that enriches us all and adds to our ability to build a more peaceful world. Clicking on the "From" icon will populate a list of options.
This comment system allows users to login to JS-Kit Comments using their existing Facebook, Google, Twitter, Yahoo, etc account. JS-Kit will automatically import the visitors avatar from FaceBook (example) and publish all comments left on ICH to their FaceBook page. Visitors can opt-in or out at anytime. Simply check the box next to your existing social network website and follow the prompts. You may chose to select the "My JS-Kit Account" option if you simply want to be able to post comments on this site, or your not a member of the social networking sites listed. Selecting this option will open a new window.
Click on the "Login with: "My JS-Kit Account" Tab and select the "My New JS-Kit Account" option.
Enter a Username, email address and password and click on the register button. A new box will open and you are now able to post comments. For more information on this comment system please click here |
